I’ve been asking myself that question my whole professional career! For two decades I chose to work solely as a writer and ignore my intuition and energy healing abilities because I didn’t feel comfortable with them.

I realised that the only reason I couldn’t be both was if I was too scared to show people the real, authentic me. What sort of example is that for my kids? So here I am. A professional writer AND an energy healer. I’ve always been both, I’m just finally out in the open about it and I love that by doing so, people feel like they can share their own experiences with me.

I’m voraciously curious about intuition and energy and how it all works, and believe that it’s only a matter of time before science catches up with the so-called ‘woo-woo’ just like they did in being able to telephone to harness sound waves. My hope is to normalise conversations around intuition and energy healing. We can all do it, why are we so scared to talk about it?
